We met more than 12 years ago at a difficult time. Brian's Uncle, who was Rashida's Pastor was in the process of transitioning. The two had one thing in common, providing emotional support for the family.

After his passing, Brian and Rashida began a friendship that blossomed organically. 

Two years after meeting, they were married and the rest is history.
